Niethville was represented at the AI Leadership Forum hosted by Rotman, in collaboration with Harvard, Columbia, and INSEAD.
One thing that really stood out was the role of governance and leadership in AI.
A lot of conversations around AI focus on tools, but this went deeper. It focused on how leaders guide its use, make decisions around it, and put structure in place so it actually delivers value.
Data integrity also came up strongly. If the data going into these systems is not reliable, then the output cannot be trusted. It becomes less about the technology and more about how organizations manage their data and put the right controls in place.
There was also a strong emphasis on risk. Leaders are not just expected to adopt AI, but to think ahead, put mitigation plans in place, and ensure it is used responsibly across the organization.
What stood out most was how organizations are approaching AI not just from a technology standpoint, but from a decision-making and execution perspective.
A good reminder that as AI evolves, leadership has to evolve with it.
